Short notice trip to High Voltage Saturday July 11

Hey folks,

Burns, Shaftski and I are making an impromptu visit to High Voltage in Holbrook MA tomorrow. Be there at ten, come on by and shoot some rec with us!

It was the first time there for all of us, and I liked the place. Fields are a little small but perfect for private group play.

Understaffed a bit, guy doing air fills was also the ref. But we got plenty of games in. Staging area fully shaded which is really nice.

I really liked the paint. Valken Grafitti platinum. Broke extremely well, nice waking up this morning without nasty welts. Crazy humid early in the day and it kept shooting great.

I liked the fields, though it's very clear they cater to rental groups (lots of respawn). The staging area is very uneven with lots of roots and rocks, but it's well shaded and they're are lots of picnic tables. The staff was really nice and the owner appreciated our MCB-flavor of gear. Paint shot great for me too, not too small, reasonably consistent and broke on target. I didn't have any barrel breaks in my Phantom all day.

One complaint is that there were a small group of agglets that started acting a fool midway through the day. We called them out a few times (they kept lifting their masks around renters) and they didn't like that. The ref. made them split up which helped significantly, but they left shortly thereafter because we were apparently cramping their style.

All in all I had a fun time and would def. go back. I'm going to talk to the owners to try and set up a pump day later on in the summer or early fall, stay tuned.
