That makes sense. I know the gun went to Palmers twice in its life beforei got it. Interesting story about the guns history but thats for another time. Once for the feedtube and asa mod, and once for a rebuild. At some point it must have had the valve swapped.

    Well found a few things,

    1) the airline from the asa was blocked, i suspect the inside of the stainless line collapsed.

Then found a couple other issues. So after a dozen dissasemblys and assemblies. The gun is working. Still need to find my chrono but seems to be close to the velocity of my pgp.

Still have a small leak but I think it's the airline.

Thanks everyone for ideas to check.

this is what the valve is, anyone know?
also s shot of the underside of the gun. The valve does have a setscrew to keep it from rotating.

The gun shot fine with the orignal bolt. Let say 2 years ago, somewhere it started leaking. lets call that 1 1/2 years ago. I rebuilt it about a year ago. Still with the original bolt. No Go.

The bolt action bolts not been tested due to the gun not working .

The issue is PRE bolt action bolt. It was with the stock bolt. That bolt has nothing to do with the issue.

Yes I put new cool parts into a non working gun.

Now that valve issue youve spoken of sounds like a possibilty. I know last time I worked on it I should have had the beer after and not before working on it.

checking plugged valve port alignment is a good idea. Also, make sure that fancy centerfire bolt is lining up properly with the transfer port

Shot fine before or after the bolt was installed? Judging by the BB holes not lining up, your air port in the bolt isn't lined up with the body.

Carp has a point, too... was there a setscrew you had to remove to get the valve out? If there was, you likely had valve work and porting done, and should align the valve correctly via the setscrew if you didn't.

Has the valve body previously had any work done? IE..some of the ports plugged? When reassembling, could you have possibly orientated the open port downwards, instead of upwards??.... Otherwise, I've got nothing. I'll go over to the corner now and let the Brass Mages take over. 😔

It shot fine but suddenly started leaking, I got the seal kit from palmers, disassembled and resealed it. The good is no leaks, the bad is I cant seem to break 100 fps. And I cant seem to figure it out. Probably did something wrong.

The reseal was a couple years ago. I put it away in disgust.

The gun has been to palmers for work (feedtube, asa), They could not tell me about what else may have been done. And I dont know enough about the guns to know from looking.

This is the gun, I also have the original bolt and pump

EDIT: This guns issue is PRE bolt action bolt. That bolt has nothing to do with the issue. Yes I like to put cool new parts on non working guns.
