Antiquated and time consuming would be my perspective on 12 gram changes.

    Looks like a 38 special

How is changing the 12g on the field? I've heard some mixed stuff

    UPDATE:

    The good:

Installed high velocity valve. It shoots FS shaped and spherical rounds amazing, great range, exceeds expectations.

    The Bad:

This gun simply can’t shoot regular .50 cal paint. Period. And I’ve tried nearly every brand. The best it can do is get 2/5 out the barrel. If your going to buy this gun, understand your buying FS for it. The barrel appears to be too small for regular .50, just my observation over 1000+ shots over a year.

    The ugly:

I decided to turn this into a short range yeet cannon.

Just an update, this paint now (also) suffers from the same "under-size" issues as other paint brands. Standards have fallen!

I was one of the first to get a Roscoe and after two weeks of calling FS to find out why it didn’t function I returned it. Talk about a large clumsy POS every time I drew from a RH holster I would actuate the cylinder lock. I won’t miss that thing to be honest.

i think you would be surprised how many of these 50cal pistols were originally designed as "less than lethal self defense" for people who just want to think it will protect them

Because as we all know, a 50 call paintball at 160fps packs such a huge punch

But these are designed so if you put the barrel to somebody's eyeball and pulled the trigger they would live

Once you put a mask on, you can up the velocity apparently

All tippmanns, whole I think they changed the mixture a little around 06, it wasn't a big change, it was still crappy aluminum before and after, that why they are not milled

infamoussmiley I'll grab some pictures for you tonight. My guess is you would not be able to TIG it, it is very clearly a casting, so I doubt the quality would be there in order to TIG it.

Smiley, I pulled a screenshot of an advertisement on ANSgear where they appear to confirm its aluminum. Thats if you trust their advertisement. You might want to DM Lt. head-shot who helped me mill down the barrel, he owns a Roscoe too. He might even have the extra bits leftover.

Yeah, it’s a clamshell. I only had it open once and wasn’t looking or considering an application like replacing the barrel.
