Yeah, if you want one quicker, might have to order one that is already made rather than a custom one. If their website is correct there do appear to be two complete guns in stock, but I specifically wanted a custom one. I don't know exactly the lead time, but I was told up to a year so hopefully it won't be that long, turns out lots of people ordered stuff once COVID happened. Might be worth a call to the shop to see what they have complete they could ship out immediately. If I were to buy one used I would have sent it there for tuning and rebuild anyways, so it wasn't going to happen all that quickly.

On the plus side, my Shocker 4x4 has been very fun and reliable, and will suffice till the blazer comes in, and when it does I am gonna send the Shocker out for anno since I won't be depending on it to play with.

There was no account purge per se but instead MCB 2.0 was held up for ransom and the man Carter said FU and he and some stellar volunteers rebuilt MCB in its current form. All of us had to set up new accounts. For more information just search the forum it has been explained innumerable times.

So I'm a "lapsed" MCB member from 20 years ago, but apparently my account info has been deleted in some variety of purge, I would have just sent you a PM but I need to wait 10 days to make sure I'm not a scammer....

So I'm thinking about doing what you did... I wanted a Blazer in 2006 but now I'm in a position where I can actually buy one... Am I understanding this post right, you ordered the Blazer back in July and it still hasn't shipped? Maybe I'll just keep a closer eye on the used market...

its niece to see that the "time" comes back. i have 2 kids (2 and 4) and am in my mid 30's.
sometimes i felt that i was the only one who ran out of time and wasnt able to do the things i used to. (and that theyd possibly never happen again)...

i havent played in 3 or 4 years now, havent been on the mountain bike in about the same time. been on the kayak and few times but just putzing around the bay with one of the boys. (i used to spend hours bombing down the Delaware). now its 20 min at a time before the kids lose interest.
had am audi tt and an 80s corvette but both were sold due to car seat fitment lol

so much has changed but as time goes on, i see im not the only one and this is pretty standard.

hopefully in a few years ill be post here asking if my A1 fly is still relevant to play with....

My blazers have been the same. I’ve not shot any other marker that was so consistent and dead on accurate as a blazer. Well, maybe a Palmer superstocker, but still the same barrel setup with wedgits. This is coming from someone who has owned over 50 plus markers over the years. Many of them custom built.

Well, welcome back! Based on your comments, you couldn't have found a better site for what you like and don't like. I loved my Blazer, basic black, center feed with the blade trigger but sold it almost a decade ago to Mar. Buying one new, you won't have to deal with it needing a rebuild as most used ones do. Masks have come a long way too, but I still use the Profiler almost exclusively...still have a JT Flex too.

Yeah, resumption after a long gap can seem like a pretty uphill task. But, you will feel extremely nice once you will run in the paintball field. You will feel at home and you will just forget that you had ever left this lovely game.

Crazy seeing all these 30-somethings posting; I always used to be the young kid around here and now, well, I'm a thirty-something.

Let me know how you like the Blazer. It's been on my list forever but I never bit the bullet.

PTP has a really good elbow, as well, that I bought a couple of. I want my elbow to break before my feedneck, generally, and they feel like the right sort of strong for that to happen.

Also, if you want a quirky electro, I love my J4 Torque. They had some teething pains but mine shoots unbelievably well (all paint considered) and has a lot of soul compared to the plastic guns, where it's a small shop trying something new, but the valve layout is quite reliable, pretty efficient, and is actually somewhat similar in concept to a Shoebox when you think real hard about it. It is, however, light and has a long grip-to-grip distance, which I love (gets me on target faster), but I understand that's a preference. Azodin is the modern Spyder if you need a backup to throw in the bag, and they're well-regarded.

For heavy barrels, PPS Brass is really the best option, and the junk paint begs for wedgits or "fingers" (that some of the guys here 3D print in rubber) instead of Freak inserts, most days. It really is terrible now. I'd worry about using a cocker barrel adapter and a Freak; if the Freak is tighter than the adapter, you've got an accelerating paintball trying to make the transition. Wedgiting the adapter and using a large-bore barrel might be more reliable.

Blazers are amazing. My blazers were the most accurate guns I've shot. Not sure if it was just the configuration made me better at shooting them, or what. They were dead nuts.

For me the 12 inch vented barrel with wedgits is perfect. Toda I'd have a hard time deciding between a .688 with deep wedgits or a .685 with regular wedgits. either will work for virtually all paint and not need you to mess with inserts. I don't reccomend a freak, just get one or two barrels with wedgits they work all day and need no fuss.

You’ll be extremely happy with your new blazer. I’ve owned 5 in my paintball career (25 years) and they’ve all been trouble free and just plain work. I’m 41 years old and still have a blast running around with the young guns playing with my old school toys.

Hardly every category lol. It is very light which I don't like, it is made of plastic which I don't like, it has terrible ridges all of the grip which I don't like, the space between the front grip and trigger is too long, it doesn't have any feedback in the trigger, it doesn't look good,` etc etc.

I just don't really care about things like air efficiency, fire rate, weight or cost so long as it was under my $1K budget. I could easily have bought a used ion for $100 that ramps all day if I cared to. I wanted something personalized that feels like a tank in my hands and gives me some feedback. I am sure the Emek is great, but it doesn't really have anything for me to enjoy about it. Better is relative to the metrics one uses after all.
