These are such underrated markers, with enough tweaks they can be great markers that shoot easily as good as $300 ones

Here's my old Tacticool Tigershark from a few years back.... It was buttery smooth and shot amazing

The issue I am having now is that the think is hard to pump. Like pumping semi-molten lead.
The bolt/hammer are kinking against the power tube and causing all kinds of ugliness.
I polished the tube, and that helped a little (also made it look much nicer), but it's still super stiff. Next step is to change out the main springs to something a bit lighter, but that will lower my Velocities.

I'm not bothered as this is one of my dedicated project markers and I am just enjoying tinkering with it.

No matter how good this thing gets, it will always be a work in progress.

Wonder what causing it to pump like that?

What tools do you have available to you? If you have a lathe or decent drill press and the right size reamer or mil bit, you could probably open up the inside of the bolt and hammer for a thin brass or steel bushing. Press the bushing into the bolt, and machine the the hammer opening a little bit larger than that so it doesn't stick on it. Should work well as an anti-kink. That's all the other pumps I've seen do. They just machine a flange onto the end of one of the parts so it seats inside the other.

I don't have a lathe... but I have access to an airplane hangar with a lot of tools (drill press, hydraulic press, buffing wheels, basic stuff like that).
I have been thinking of doing pretty much what you are suggesting.

It looks like the internals from my Razorback fit in the Tiger Shark.

No idea how well they will work though... The power tubes are very different diameters.
