The birth of a unicorn or the rise of the Phoenix? Creation of a custom phoenix

    Hello MCB,

Always loved the Phoenix, always love when someone make something cool and makes it available ...

So, I go a hold of one the last remaining "new" Phoenix kit and decided to make it my dream setup 😎

I got most of the parts here (the guts are in the part bin):
    - Thanks to @haveblue for the second milled body - Thanks to BMC for the freak job
    - Thanks to Mike for kit

    Whats missing/need to be done?
    - The grip frame
    - The pump guide
    - The valves body machining (I have a plan πŸ˜…)
    - The feed
    - Assembly
    - Play!

    1) The frame:
I could go the easy route and use a CCI trigger group and a fancy grip, but where's the fun in that? Here is the frame I want to use.
I have made it work for phantom already, just need to clean up a few things and it's gonna be good to go πŸ‘

Next i noticed a large gap on the Phoenix kit where the cocking rod rides, it has to be that way to be able to be assembled, but a bushing takes all that slop away πŸ˜…

    2) the valve:

I like BBA, but I also want to be able to put a vasa or bottom line asa ... And I don't want double macro lines ...
So I started with 2 BBA valve bodies, side taped the right one on both sides and popped the back of the left one for a gauge.

    3) The pump guide.

this is a prototype/moch up, but that's the idea.
I need to tighten up the block design and machine a rod the proper OD (this is just a 1/4" tube I had laying around)
Click image for larger version Name:	PXL_20220827_001853496.jpg Views:	139 Size:	1.65 MB ID:	310251

Looks just like the mockup, but with a solid pump rod and finished block i now have a functioning pump kit.
I may tweak a few things to try to make it slightly smoother toward the end of the stroke, will see how it umps when fully assembled.

I do too. I picked one up from wooooouuuulllf (however the hell you spell it), and it's definitely machined. Very comfy.

Yep, picked it up from him.
Was originally gonna put it on a PGP, might do that with h the second one ... Or pick a third πŸ˜…

They're priced very reasonably. Why not? I bought one for my Hammer. I just need to drill and tap a new front hole for it.
