It's not even guns at this point, it's EVERYTHING. Frames have been out of stock for months, air fittings have basically never been in stock, there's only a handful of internals kits listed, most of the pump kits are out of stock too, though maybe that's to do with changing to the new pump plate?
Also it seems a no brainer to me with their new front block design to offer a autococker compatible front block. Even if you don't do proper semi guns, I'd imagine there would be a decent amount of demand for that option. But they had those J2's up for a while and I haven't seen too many people make those into semi's so maybe I'm wrong there. The fact they still haven't changed their feedneck to a proper lever action either drives me nuts, the lever they offer is basically useless.
I don't understand it at all. Can't believe nobody else has managed to fill this gap either. The Inception pumps are ok, but IMO they just don't have as good fit and finish. They're also marked down right now which make me wonder if they're gonna discontinue them? Niche crashed and burned, and that's pretty much it for manufacturers right? Unless you want to cobble together your own.

That's not entirely fair. The cowboy pistols were a personal side project, not a CCM product. And players do like those sniper rifles.
But I am perplexed over their sluggishness producing cockers. There's almost never any actual gun for sale on the website and it seems to me that the market wants a lot more than they produce. The standard excuse was something along the lines that CCM has other business and paintball is just a side project to eat up downtime; at the same time though there is pretty clearly demand that ought to justify some dedicated resources. Why they wouldn't want to capture that income, I don't understand. Maybe the numbers look differently from how I imagine them

Demand outweighs supply, prices are always gonna increase, which is being reflected in the 2nd hand market.

To paraphrase whoever I was emailing last at CCM about it, their markers got a price bump within the last year or two due to difficulty sourcing material for parts.

CCM charges for polishing now, the marker that is listed at $1075 has a polished anodizing. I believe their tumbled and matte anodized markers are still close-ish to the original price you mentioned.

When the new guns were selling in literal seconds at the old price point. It makes sense to me that they increased the price point

Looking at their site and they have 3 listed with pricing from 1,075 for a factory second to 1,340 for a caustic anno. Didn't they used to be around the $700 price point?Tags: None
