I'm fighting a strange issue with a S6 regulator that I recently purchased. I swapped all of the o-rings in both the upper and lower sections but it continues to supercharge to near bottle output pressure. My thoughts are the piston or the spring in the top are bad. Any help is appreciated.

Most likely weak spring -
Did you change out the upper pin valve? Some times they get bent from people over adjusting them.
We can tray some Dow 55 on it. But might be worth just getting a rebuild kit. If they don’t have any in stock on the site just email them. I have a kit if you really need one till more are available.

Ccm has full rebuild kits available on their website. I ordered one and I'm going to swap out everything just for peace of mind. Thanks for everyone's input. I appreciate you all.Comment

I think for $26 it’s worth it. Sweet spot it check the pressure with a reg tester and forget about it.
I’m not sure what people do but I have only had issues with other peoples markers or ones I purchased 2nd hand. I really believe it’s user error.Comment

Pretty sure the reg seat oring is a 90 durometer not a 70.BeardedWorks.com (Your Inception Designs and Shocktech Dealer)

It is a 90. I pulled a the same oring out of a ninja rebuild kit per PaintballTek's YouTube video. Unfortunately I had the same issue. The spring feels weak so I believe that is the culprit. I'm going to replace all the internals just for piece of mind.Comment

Often that Oring that sits under the pin at the top that is the culprit. Unless the bore is scored or the pin is bent or mushed. There is no good place to grab the Delrin disk I take the adjuster all the way out and push it from the bottom up so it don't get damaged. I think people can sometimes scratch the bore trying to dig them out with picks from the top. When putting them back together I put the adjuster flush with the bottom and it should get you real close to sweet spot with 1.5 turns in from flush on the IVG.

They really should have put 2 flats on the nub so people could grab them. -
Yeah that would definitely help. It’s round tapered and self Lubricated plastic makes grabbing it hard. I suspect people digging at it with a pick cause most of the issues. I found pushing it from the back side out works great without risking damage to the inner sealing surface.
