    Adjustable rail option

    Hello,

I've been looking at adjustable rail since I got my supremacy, but I can't justify the $170+ for the HHA.
I'm sure it's an amazing product, but it's too much for the once in a while I would use it ...

BUT I've been looking at this one: https://www.ebay.com/itm/273351741650

I can't seam to find it anywhere else not in any other color
has anyone tried it? Does it work for FSR use?

    Thanks,
    X

I use a tiberius adjustable riser. Works good, but has 1.5" of rise which is a lot.
I might have a spare if you are interested... I will have to dig around to confirm.

Im definitely interested. I currently have a 1"riser on my SSR so the difference wouldnt be too much.

I can take shot up to 70-80 yard before it goes out of the scope, i'd like to be able to take that longet shot from time to time ... 😁

You can always shim the scope ring. I've got a x4 scope setup so the very top notch of the markings is about 30 yards, and the full markings see out to 150 yards.
Useful to take close range shots and still engage those long lobs.

If you do decide to shim just use enough torque on the bolts to hold the scope in place, or you can damage a scope, bend it or worse.
        I use o-rings as a shim.

I would use that over the tib riser anyday. The tib riser weighs more than the gun.

Milsig also made an adjustable rail. I'm not sure if they make it anymore, but it's out there, and far lighter and smaller than the Tiberius one. I think mag fed maker also has some 3d printed non adjustable angled risers.

The milsig one is hot garbage. The adjustment knob is under the rail, so is largely inaccessible to anyone with human sized hands. Unless you just spend the time to set it once and just leave it that way.

                This.
I have owned probably every rail and scope combo out there. Just buy a fixed angled rail and save like 3 pounds.

I've owed a lot of scope/red-dot/flip to side combo too ...
im now settled on the Supremacy scope.
It has proper compensation for Paintball up to about 80 yard with a X2 or X3 zoom, but above that you can't see when the shot land.

The idea of something adjustable is to be able to tilt it for those long shot, then take the angle off for anything bellow 80 yards ...

I bought the above-mentioned riser to give it a try ... Will post updates when it comes in

It's legit. Probably going to replace my HHA Optimizer with it. The one I ordered has a wind-age adjustment on it as well.

Ok, I got mine this weekend, and I when I put it on the gun it didn't went too well.
The scope woble a lot, the whole thing is not machined with very tight tolerances ...

I cut down the connector on the lathe and put some locktight on the front adjustment (side to side) so it doesn't woble too much. It's not perfect, but it's better.

The elevation screwed is not too bad and the spring feels nice. I think with a few more twick it will do what I need it to do.
ill post pictures when I get a chance

                        Here are some pictures:

The supremacy doesn't fit without the riser, so here is how it stand now, with 1" riser. I have 1/2" in the mail:

The rail had a lot of slop from side to side (view from the back):

Here is the source of the slop (view from the front):

I cut the threaded nut holding the front down until this gap was gone. The scope doesn't move much anymore, it is probable playable at this point...
Also, the front side to side adjustment got a nice dose of lock-tight as im not planing on using it at all and i dont want to move.

                              No, not yet ...
I am hoping this might work well for the once in a while I need to take a shot passed the 80 yard mark. I can tilt the scope and zoom in.
The HHA does exactly that, but much better, but it's way (way) more ...
