    B2K LPR problems

EDIT: I'm going to consolidate this thread since every problem solved seems to lead to another...

    Hey dudes,

Continuing from my last thread in the progress of this B2K, the 4-way no longer leaks, however I seem to have a constant leak from the LPR. I'm guessing that it has something to do with the blow-off safety feature. The HPR is set to 225-250, and as soon as I add any real pressure to the LPR it leaks right from the coin slot used to adjust it. I've checked all of the o-rings around it, but suspect they won't help.

    Any ideas?

    Thanks

The safety pressure relief is in the Solenoid. You will hear it from the grip frame if it over pressured. If it’s from the adjuster then replace the oring on the plunger. It’s under the adjuster.
(adjuster, spring, plunger) If it’s from around the lpr body then it’s the orings on the lpr body. Since it sounds like it leaks as soon as you turn the adjuster my bet is it’s the plunger oring.

Thank you sir, that was correct. The oring on the plunger was definitely the incorrect size.

However, this has lead me right back to having a leak in the grip frame. Different than before. The seal I replaced on the 4-way seems to be working. I'm giving up for the day, hopefully I'll figure it out soon enough.

So, it appears that everything is sealed up, but the leak in the grip frame is back. I've aired the marker up with the grip frame pulled off, and from what I can tell it's leaking from the solenoid gasket. I fear this is going to be difficult to replace.

        Any suggestions?

Back lpr out to flush. Does it still do it? Slowly turn in. Does it do it? Basically making sure it’s not the overpressure feature. If it leaks at any lpr pressure and you feel comfortable taking the Solenoid apart, do it. Mark the black back cap so you don’t put it on upside down. There is also a little nub thing on it but I just line it with a sharpie. Watch the little spring when you take the back cap off as well.( note orientation ) pull out the spool and check those orings as well. figure out what is worn and report back.
