    AKA Tornado Valve install issue.

So I was installing the valve into my AMG and noticed the valve wouldn't allow for the valve screw to sit flush anymore interfering with putting the frame back on.

I imagine I will have to replace my current screw for something shorter to get this to work. Does anyone know the screw thread pitch, and is this normal to have to replace?

I vaguely recall once upon a time that the tornado valves either came with or needed a shortened screw. But that would be a memory of 10 plus years ago. I never owned a spyder tornado valve.

Personally, I would just file down the stock screw or get a spare one to file down.
    My feedback

Tornado valve is supposed to come with its own set screw. Try giving aka a shout, their site is still up.

I'll hit up AKA and see what they say. Was a bummer I took the time to sit down to set my reg pressure, take the marker apart to remove the stock valve, just to find out the stock valve screw wouldn't fit with the new valve.

Figured getting the right combo of pressure and hammer spring was going to be my only challenge. Whatever though, got to work on my mech Ion.

Right there is the issue. The AKA valve should come with its own valve retaining screw.
