Nova N3 Hellion Disassembly

And now the disassembly of a Nova N3 Hellion:

First remove the front frame screw and loose the rear frame screw:



Then remove the front barrel assembly:

Here’s a view of the trigger frame that shows the seals for the internal airway and the sear and the black detent (?). Note there is a spring under the detent.

Confused my springs in rebuild but have since corrected and update the information. The detent spring is the shorter spring, the longer spring is in rear assembly.

Next we remove the feedneck:



And remove the two small body screws:


And slide the front section out of the main body:


This reminds me of the lower tube assembly on a Palmer, just on a march larger and easier to deal with scale!

Continuing to take the front section apart:



There is a spring sandwiched between the halves and a mostly circular disc:


And here is the disc in its proper position. I do. Not know if the flat spot needs to be in a particular place or not.

And now to the back half. Let’s see that junk in the trunk!


With the end cap removed and spring still in place:

Then you slide all the stuff back together, paying close attention to the screw holes:



Then add the feedneck back on:
Put on the barrel assembly:



And reattach the trigger frame.
