    Rebuilding 1k Blazer

So I will work on pictures and video but I bought a used 1k Blazer that has been hanging on Craigs wall for who knows how long.
I have a Vigilante Reg I just rebuilt on it set to 500 or so on it. I replaced the bolt o-rings as the were shot.

When I first aired it up it was leaking out of the ASA. I have a rebuild kit and I think I found the right o-rings. It stopped leaking there but now it seems to be leaking out of the front of the grip frame.

I know there use to be a pile of information on MCB about teching Blazers. I can’t even seem to find a diagram for a 1K blazer which is making me hesitant to rip the whole thing apart.
I was able to get it to cycle and fire but the trigger seemed to be far more prone to short stroke than my old blazer.

anyone have any suggestions? Also the diagram for the

I have a couple 1K Blazers in pieces, perhaps we can help each other out. It sounds like your switch needs a rebuild.

I have a 1K Blazer that leaks out the front of the grip frame too. Pretty sure it's the 3-way o-rings and it's a real pain to remove that thing. If anybody has better info I too would be appreciative of some advice.

How do you access the switch?

If you remove the vertical ASA there is a plug and inside you'll find the cups + stem. They can be a major pain to get out. On mine the original orings were mush, so they actually came out fairly easy. I installed them wrong after the rebuild and needed to remove them which was awful as they fit so tightly inside that little tube.

Well that would explain some things... I generally think I will be rebuilding this whole thing but without as much pictures and videos to go by I will have to do it baby steps at a time

I can send you pictures but currently it will be in a completely disassembled state.

I got the switch out, after going snake venom style for the first 2 (put my mouth around the hole and sucked)found out that my trusty rubber dipped Allen from the trigger side can push them right out. Now the question is what fudging way do these carrier plugs go in? The instructions make it seem like the 2 inner ones snd the 2 outer ones are the same but mine were put in:
wider carrier-thinner carrier- wider carrier- thinner

also one of the thinner carriers has a cross slot snd the other just has the bisecting slot.

I have been working off of that but it doesn’t have disassembly info more does it tell what Oring goes where from the parts kit yes I can guess pretty well but still don’t want to wreak snd oring because I can’t fine even the simplest of explaination of what goes where.

There is a picture in the pps technical sticky. It shows where the orings go and the switch cup orientation.

Wow! So I had been given the wrong Blazer rebuild kit and I generally muffed it up… ended up sending it into Craig and got her back last month shooting smashingly
