    Sheridan Valve tool

I figured someone should do a write up on this. It's super easy and will take you no time at all. All you need to do is make a square bit to fit the nut, and to fit over the valve stem at the same time. The square in the nut measures 8.5mm roughly, with rounded corners.

I started with a 9/32 nut driver bit as they are cheap, and you can use them with a screwdriver or any other drive tool. So all you have to do is to grind that bit down into roughly an 8.5mm square. Then you round the corners, and you're done. You can use measurements, or grind some, check it, grind some more, ect.

I hit it with a file for finishing touches, made sure it fits deep into the nut

Looks good. Got the plug out I’d say that’s a success!

Looks are secondary to form. But the most important was not spending $30
