What's your dream brass gun set up?

I have it in my head I want to build a brass gun from scratch and am looking for inspiration. I have shot everything from a KP2 to a nasty super stocker and nearly everything in between and am not sure what direction to take with this project. I have a small lathe and mill in my garage so some wackiness can happen as I'm not limited to a dremel and whatever spare parts I can find.

So what would you build if you had nothing but time and a can do attitude? What's your favorite Sheridan based marker you've ever seen, shot or held? What features do you dream of having? Let's spitball some ideas and I'll do my best to put it together and blog it on here for your entertainment.

Pirate lever, flat topped. Luckily, I own that style and love it. Also really dig my flat topped pirated pump version too. I’ve found I prefer the tighter play style of the pirate over the full length KPs recently.

Also JeeperCreeper has been doing awesome work with freaking PGPs for single shot. The freak is obviously a huge improvement

    Some pics for reference

+1 for flattopped pirates. Nice and tight and maneuverable. That Phantom looks like the one nerdy dude that hangs out with a biker gang.

Enlarged transfer port, centerfire, insert ready, kframed pistol. Huge boost to efficiency, no more rollouts. With the right grips they point like an extension of your arm. I’ve pulled off shots with the pistol that my full stock markers are only capable of with contortion. That said, full range of motion suits my play style. Stocked markers work better for open fields and long ball. A good bolt action pirate is great too. I usually carry both on a gun belt when I play.

For a rifle I really want a lever action with a good drop stock I can get behind and aim. Some kind of detent system. Removable stick feed. Something practical, efficient, effective with that OG brass flavor.

I got jeepercreeper making me one of his fancy freaked single shot PGP’s he’s been building. Brass K frame, slight off set FS cut, Speed demon bolt, his trick freak setup, Palmers quick change and some classic iron sights. I’m super excited to see what he comes up with.

For me, a Mare's leg lever (big loop) with a 13"-ish barrel, chunky iron sites, freak XL-ed, with a LH spring feed (that can be run for stock class too) with a lever drop out CO2 (or some sort of fast change CO2)

This was a Walzmas piece correct? You told me, but I'm not smart.

Yep I recieved this for Walzmas a few years back, after its maker read a post I made in a thread like this describing my perfect brass.

A project like this speaks to me. I think the only improvement would be a lever changer.

Freak'd and k-framed pgp with a 10 round spring feed ran side-car style. If I'm feeling greedy I might even imagine it with a center-fire bolts and enlarged port.

I would love to one day own a K or kp2 rifle with a spring feed system. Either one would be awesome!
