    The Handsome Siblings

    I got bored....

    A pair of handsome siblings for your viewing pleasure....

    started these two a few days ago while I'm waiting on a spring order from palmers to complete a couple others..

    rifle and pistol combo made from titanium, brass and wood.....

    these are not completed by any means as the pistol needs wood grips, wood pump handle maybe, a walz logo, general cleanup..
    rifle needs stock finishing, inlay work, more brass stuff, trigger guard, and a few things I haven't even thought of yet...

    The pistol sports a 8 1\2" titanium barrel at 9" overall...
    The perfect size for carrying on your hip...

    The rifle has a 17 1/2" titanium barrel at 20" overall..
    Tac-50 style stock still in the raw...

    A lot of work has gone into the making of the handsome siblings and there is a bit to go still..
    stayed tuned to see the handsome siblings and their finishing touches....

      Close ups of front site assembly and the rear site setup..

      i really like the look of the front site, it's just a hunk of brass with a brass bearing soldered into it but it just feels right for this one...

              Damn Wally, you're making it impossible for your acolytes to catch up. Your detail work and little flourishes just keep getting better. Any chance of a Shangri-Llama apprenticeship program? Summer camp?

                    I was thinking this too. I wish I had the time for a pilgrimage to Idaho and learn straight from Wally.
