Lever and arm - done.
Last thing to do is figure out where I want to install a 12gram changer of some sort... I'm leaning towards a bucket changer in the handgrip portion of the stock.

A bit more work... I'm still tweaking a few things but it's almost ready to start running the plumbing for a 12gram changer.
I've soldered a feedport cover on one side for now, painted the lever and done a paracord wrap on it, and installed a front blade sight off a Silverstreak.

Potential 12gram setup? MicroCA lever changer
(all Grendel's idea 😉) under barrel (or even a bucket changer, really). Short route to the valve, no hoses to leak... minor mods to the stock.

For Grendel - the double lever lever action. (Twice the lever action, twice the fun! ™)
Almost done - couple little things to tweak or clean up.

Preeeeettyy much done now... I'm toying with the idea of a lugged rail along the top, like some of my other builds, but I'm going to leave it alone for now.
I've ordered a CCI bucket changer to replace the temporary BE 12-gram changer on there right now. The MicroCA will likely stay off, it's more bulky than I like (sorry, Grendel 😉).
Feedport cover opened:
The springfeed slot ended up on the right, with the feedport and cover on the left... the barrel tip is retained with my usual method, a section of brass tube that's been cut in sections, one threaded for the retaining screw, and both bits soldered to their respective tubes.

I'm going to cut and reglue the butt of the stock as well, so I haven't bothered refinishing the stock yet... you can see the cut lines I drew on the stock, the plan is to cut a wedge out and reglue/pin with dowels to create a drop stock with minimal mods.
I did something similar to my KP2 and it was extremely comfortable to use once done.

Preliminary test results are... promising.
I realized last night I forgot about putting a detent in... and was kicking myself today for forgetting about it because I really wanted to try it out.
Then a thought struck me - DSGs don't use a detent and the setup is practically the same, so I gave it a try. Zero double feeds (or triple feeds, something my side-tube Hurricane will do if I forget the detent when reassembling) - maybe because it's going straight up?
I ran a tube of paint through it and it works. Too well. First shot out the barrel was 399FPS, and the rest slowly worked their way down the scale.
But it works! 🙂 (Not that I doubted myself. Nope. Not one bit.)
I've got the stock in surgery - no shots until it's fully recovered, it might scare the purists among us - but that's the last thing to do, I think.Last edited by Jordan; 06-08-2025, 09:18 PM.

I can give you a peek, BigRed...
It needs a bit more shaping, lots of sanding, and then stain/poly, but this is basically it:
