So it's been a while since I got creative - and frankly I was really missing that - so I dug into my box of scraps, found some appropriate bits and pieces, and started planning a build.

I've been craving a stock class pump of some flavor for a while, having sold all of mine off last year, and since SuperStockers don't appear very often, I figured I'd build a version of one. Or as close as I can get it, with the limitations presented by my material list. 🙂

I had a couple pieces of lower tube left from a Bluestreak chassis I bought a couple of years ago that got soldered together and joined by a PMI-1 valve core I found in a bag of parts. The upper is a piece of barrel tube from the same PMI-1, sleeved and soldered into a Cocker thread breech, then reinforced by soldering a chunk of brass plate between both tubes.

I need to fine-tune a few things and solder on the feed tube - we're going cram-n-jam, no feedgate for this badboy - but I ran out of MAPP gas so it's on hold for now. And I'll need to figure out plumbing - very likely a 12gram dummy to bottomline since I don't have threads in the lower tube for a Fastchanger - and make a pump arm.

But.... here it is so far.

Sort of... I sourced some thick wall tubing and then had a friend thread it for me and take some off the OD. The rest of it is still put together by me though.

I soldered on the feed, added a pump rod, drilled the bottom tube for the dummy 12gram, swapped on the UMB and battle grips I've had lying around for a few years, and installed a chrome duckbill. Still in the mockup stage, and still have a few things to address, but it's getting there.

Nice build as always Jordan, how are holding the dummy 12 gram in place. And what kind of bolt are you using? Because I noticed your upper tube is shorter than your bottom tube, or is that because you moved the valve forward.

Cal440 - thank you sir, I appreciate it. 🙂 The bolt is a Speed Demon bolt out of a P68? or some kind of PMI series Sheridan. It may get swapped for a conventional P-series bolt.... and yes, the valve is PPS/K-series specs position, this may also get installed into a pirate stock eventually.

As for 12gram dummy retention - that'll be in the next update. 🙂

I'll likely paint it with high heat wrinkle paint, like my other builds.

It is cool but you have a BOA with the same bore size as the stock barrel likely. What is the advantage here?

The BOA barrel is a placeholder while I work on it, it's not staying - and the advantage is that it's Cocker thread so I can run whatever barrel I want, like a Freak.
