    Help with a pgp2k

Have an PGP2k I bought new many many years ago. Don’t play it often and am looking to start playing more this year and thought It may be fun to Bring out the pgp for a game or two for laughs.

where can I source parts for this thing. Likely needs some o rings as it’s entirely original. And I need a ball bearing for the safety, no idea when I lost that

It holds air great and fires. But it required slamming pump HARD to get it to air up and cock (more than I ever remember needing too. last time I used this was probly around 2008. Going to strip it check it out tonight likely. if it’s not too hard to keep going I may send it to palmers for some widgets and love. And maybe use it at PRZ some time for a mag fed day.

The poor old thing likely only has 300-500rnds through it EVER.

    Here you go:

As for the wedgits, they're actually pretty easy to install yourself if you're up to trying. You would just need a dowel rod, a sharpie, a paintball, a hammer, and a nail. I also recommend using a socket wrench to keep the barrel from deforming when hammering on it. I can provide instructions should you need them.

I posted a quick tutorial below. I'll post up a more detailed tutorial with pictures or video the next time I do it to one of my Sheridans.

Awesome. Thanks. And I would love to look into doing widgets myself. I am very mechanically inclined as I’m a mechanic for a living. Just never messed with brass a whole lot.

When hammering in wedgits, you want them to be located directly in the middle of where a paintball will sit inside the breech. What I'll do is load a ball into the marker and run a dowel rod down the barrel until it meets the ball. I'll then mark the dowel with a sharpie to mark the end of the barrel. Using the dowel as a measuring stick, I'll remove it from the barrel and place it along the outside of the barrel with the mark at the barrel's tip. Using the sharpie, mark on each side of the barrel where the middle of the paintball would be (you can use the paintball along with the dowel as a reference). Once you're sure you have the exact position of each wedgit marked with the sharpie, slide a socket down the barrel into the breech to prevent the barrel from going elliptical when you hammer on it. Taking a hammer and a nail with a sturdy head (you want one that won't deform much when hammering on it sideways), carefully place the side of the nail head horizontally at the mark you drew. Give the nail head a couple good whacks with the hammer being careful to keep it in position on your mark. Repeat this process for each side of the barrel. Using the paintball, check to see if the wedgits you made hold the ball in place. I recommend using a couple different balls just to be sure. If you continue to get rollouts, repeat the process again until the ball reliably stays put.

My feed gates still ok but we all know they the weakest point. Would this work in a PGP2k?

Fits: PGP, PMI, Pirinha and KP Rifle Adjustable length ramp. Light weight machined Delrin composite.
