    Enmey getting discontinued?

I went on ANS, EBay, and assorted other retail sites and it seems like they are out of stock everywhere.

Are they getting discontinued? ANS has the Enmey Pro in the discontinued category...

    Anybody have any info?

I didn't realize you could still get them new. I thought GOG had "gone under" a while back when they pivoted to the SP shocker lineup

Interesting. For some reason I thought GOG was still trucking along. Guess I am just out of the loop!

They don't make the extcy, the envy, or the g1 anymore so it looks like they are done. If they had just made the solenoids better in the electros they would of been a really nice company for newer players too get a decent first marker.

They haven't made the Extcy, Envy or the G1 for a while now, I was trying to rebuild my buddies SP-1 about a year ago and they said they were out of replacement solenoids and would never be getting new ones. I'm pretty sure the eNMEy is the only product line they are still floating. I strongly suspect the reason they dropped the electros had something to do with the failure rates on those crappy plastic ion noids...

Ooo I hope they didn’t discontinue the Enmey, that would be a shame, it’s fantastic for what it is. If they did, it’s hard to imagine someone not buying out the design.

I think MCB killed the Enmey, by flooding the market with too many mech ions!

BrickHaus I mean they're not PRETTY by any stretch of the imagination, but I don't think they're any worse than a lot of the other plastic newer stuff. I don't think Emeks are particularly nice looking, do you?

Jonnydread. No, Emeks are also ugly imo, but they have an aftermarket so you can get other bodies.

Had Gog made enmy cans compatible with ion bodies, they would be a hot ticket item.

Haha first thing I did for mine was design and print a new body!

Emailed GOG, asking about the eNMEy Pro. They saY expecting to have stock again May or June. Seems more likely a supply issue like many companies suffering with the covid shutdowns.

Own a Gen 1. Not a particular fan of the platform as it is. But it only really needs a few nicer materials in there construction to be an awesome platform. Specifically the trigger And valve. There’s a lot of flex in the trigger assembly after firing. It makes it feel spongy and lacklustre. The gun performs well but just the feels all off for me.

I have a gen 2 and it is a noticeable improvement on the trigger feeling

I agree that GoG is sleeping on a potentially awesome platform here. I have a Gen 1 with the upgraded valve that I've never actually played with myself, but my friends who have played with it all liked it. I bought it as a backup/buddy gun off eBay for like $85. It was a rental model and some field was selling their entire fleet (I think COVID had killed the field). Even has RENTAL stamped into the ugly-ass body. When my friend wanted to surprise his nephew with a marker of his own I found him a gently used Gen 2 that so far has performed well. I am constantly recommending the eNMEy to the new kids who pop up on Reddit asking for starter gun recommendations on a near daily basis, and that is despite my loathing for the Gardners. Just can't deny that the eNMEy is a lot of gun for the money and the best deal in the sub-$200 market, at least amongst new markers.

If GoG would offer some body customizations, including an aluminum body option, and maybe a double trigger frame option, and do something to make the trigger pull a little less squashy, they could easily be eating Tippmann's lunch in the starter gun market. Oh, and an aluminum trigger like you suggested. They've got a rugged, reliable, fully pneumatic mech that they apparently can sell profitably at blowback marker prices. They ought to be dominating the entry level and rental fleet markets. Any failure to do so is their own fault. It's frankly puzzling why they aren't churning out truckloads of these and marketing the absolute hell out of them.

And why the hell did they discontinue the G1? A lot of young new players looking for their first markers are attracted to that milsim crap. Tippmann must be making boatloads upselling kids on the "tactical" upgraded version of the Cronus that is just a few dollars' worth of plastic slapped onto the basic model. The G1 ought to be eating up the market share of the Cronus and the basic Stormer.

Not that they'd ever do so, but if they'd give up on the Ion/Impulse/NXT/SP/whateverthefuck barrel threading and just adopt AC threads like most everyone else, they'd have an even more compelling case for the eNMEy as the go-to starter marker for anyone who can't afford an EMEK.

One of the reasons I thing the eNMEy has lost so much favour was complete lack of support.

All the eNMEy really needs is a aluminum trigger and valve. And it be an epic shooter. It would have been my go to mech gun. Instead I gave mine to my sister after one outing with it and stuck to shooting my old faithfully Mag and eventually replaced that with a Tippmann crossover

If there were options for aluminum bodies As well even better. But even new pro style bodies I find much better looking than the Gen one bodies.

But to be fair with the gardners history in the industry what after market companies would want to support them.

I have a love/hate relationship with mine. I got mine second hand and it was not in good shape in the trigger department. I tried to get them to take a look at it but they wanted to charge me for all the things. I figured out a way to get it with them and they are fixing it up now. I was having issues with it, I shot a mostly stock one last month and immediately had FOMO with how silky smooth it shot. Maybe once it gets back to me, it'll be badass again. It's really buyers remorse since I built 3 mech ions right after I bought it. I really want to love it though.
