NXT restoration recommendations

Hey all. I have two NXT shockers that I am going to restore. I just bought two eigenbolts for this project.

Any other current, or older aftermarket parts you would recommend for the rebuilds? Boards, o-rings, bolt parts, grips, and or anything else?

This project is more a labor of love. I am aware I might spend a lot of money on a marker that doesn’t perform as well as current options. However, any help would be much appreciated. Thank you.

If you want to use them for anything tournament related you will want to try and find a virtue or other aftermarket board that allows you to set your rate of fire low enough. The stock boards can't do slower than 11.5 bps and it's done with dwell rather than a set point in the board program. I would just pop in the eigen bolts and run the other components stock.

get a bunch of oring kits and lube and ull be fine. keep up with newer guns no problem. i would recommend checking your solenoid/upper boards power buttons, if they dont have that foam spacer block the button will eventually fail

Eigenbolt and scifi board, o ring kit and be done.

Glad to hear your keeping those guns goin, they’re good blasters.The Eigen bolt is finicky with o-ring fit, and is great when operating correctly. The sprung HE bolt is another option utilizing a rhino spring and boring rear of bolt to accommodate spring. There is a lot of info on the web about the different options of bolt selection.If your looking at a board, I would suggest a sci-fi board for the convenience of programming via blue tooth, and a good rep.try to keep the colored o-rings out and stick with factory grade , they don’t last long before hanging up bolt.hope this helps ya, and good luck with build.
