Might need to clarify a bit, there were lots of different models of them, for guns and for tanks. I know on my 98 Shocker the vertical maxflo will make some noise as it degasses but, won't have enough gas to shoot or anything. That doesn't mean that other models don't, but at least I know mine doesn't.

By OG I just mean any of the chunky ones (either vertical, bottomline female or bottomline with tank directly mounted). I know the SP1 regs are technically Max Flos but aren't the same as the older ones.
