Has anyone modified the original micro switch to a wired micro switch like pictured? Now I've never did this before but I do a bit of soldering. So would this be something I could do or send it out?

I've done it different ways - converted a DS board to LS with a microswitch, and done a frame swap and wired the microswitch up with wires from the frame to the board.
Yes, it can be done.

My board has the micro switch but I want to do a wired one because I'm ditching the stock frame.

Now does it matter what wire goes where or is there a certain one negative & positive?

Not in my experience, but you'll need to use the correct terminals on the microswitch - they're marked. You'll want to use the center post and the one marked NO.Originally posted by Ben06 View PostNow does it matter what wire goes where or is there a certain one negative & positive?

What frame and board are you going to use? I just switched my shoebox to an eblade. Easiest conversion ever as you don't have to drill any new holes.

Well I'm going to say it'll probably be the first one done with this frame! It'll be up for sale soon. I ended up finding a new project.
