Ion and SP1 bolt??

Is the Ion bolt transferable to the SP1? I was looking for a "fire" bolt for the SP1/G1 and can only find Ion versions.

Yes - the bolt stop is different but the bolt is the same.

Or, put it this way - I have used stock Ion bolts, that I modified to have a second tail oring, in SP1s.

Ion bolt stop:



Notice the "step"? Ion XE bolts, and every other Ion-based marker that uses the bolt out back (BOB) style system, uses a slightly shorter bolt stop that doesnt have that "step". That's why XE/SP1/etc bolt kits say they won't fit an Ion, it's because the bolt stop included in the kit doesn't work on a plain Jane Ion. The bolt will work fine.
