    eNMey versions

    Hey folks,

How does one tell which eNMey is which? I could have Googled, but I'm trying to increase content here

    Thanks!

If the body is one solid piece it's v2. If it looks like it has windows it's prob v1.

Gen 1 - body windows, weak feed neck, pneumatic switch prone to cracking and leaking

Gen 1.5 - body windows, still weak feed neck, new more robust pneumatic switch

Gen 2 - solid body, reinforced feed neck, new pneumatic switch

This is great, thank you! Mine looks like the blue one on the right so I reckon it's a Gen 2?

Yes, that would be a gen 2. I have a gen 2 as well and am very happy with it. It's given me no problems, and I'm pretty rough with my equipment.

Yeah same. I've mostly purged any of my non-pumps except for some old school stuff, but I kept the eNMey cause I like how they shoot and it has proven to be quite reliable.

I'm surprised GOG isn't pushing them harder now that mechanical is popular again. They provide some good competition to the Emek, and run well on CO2.

Yeah me too, I like using CO2 and I prefer the trigger on the eNMey compared to the Emek. Something about holding the trigger and keeping the bolt back just makes it more fun to shoot.

That's exactly what I like about it, too. It really only needs an adjustable trigger to remain competitive (though there are mods that can be done). I recently sold a Gmek and really liked it. I'll probably end up with an emek or m170r sometime down the road. But the enmey has a nice, unique feel.

I have one with windows and one without. Both have same feedneck from what I can tell. And internals appear same as well. They both 1.5s with only difference being the body? Look the same when pulling the bolts are when pulling the frames.

Post some pics so we can deliberate!

The non-window body looks gen 2. I don't think there is any difference in the bolt systems between the generations, but I honestly couldn't tell you the difference between a reinforced and non-reinforced feedneck. Do they feel different to shoot? The V2 switch feels snappier to me than the V1.

First gen has the ion style bolt system and the second gen has the their new matrix style bolt system
