In my zeal to convert my Ion to mech, after getting all the parts, the hoses, everything I need, I made the most bonehead move ever.
I hooked up everything, all the hoses to the right places, SSC bracket with the SMAV valve, QEV, new bolt with dual Orings.....everything looked great.
Until I tried putting the can on the frame. It would NOT fit. "Hmm, the QEV seems to be hitting in the frame, not allowing it to fully close." Let's crank that down a little more....
Whelp. Someone, not mentioning names, forgot the BODY. The freaking BODY is laying there, laughing at me as I snap off the QEV trying to get one more turn in.
Sighs. Back to Ebay for another QEV.
