    Shoebox shots per fill

I know they are famously inefficient, but does anyone remember a rough shots per fill and what kind of tank it was from?

I'm trying to estimate what size HPA tank to look for with my shoebox build. I don't care if it's bad, but if I can get 300-400 shots out of a 45ci at 3k then life is fine.

The old rule of thumb was about 600 from either a 20-ounce CO2, or a 3K/68. A 4.5K/68 would be about half again more, so 900-ish, which tracks with ZDSPB's note.

I ran a shoebox for a day, used a steely and a halo so it was brick but I only got like a hopper and maybe 3 pods if that out of it if I remember correctly

I ran a PVI unit, but this was back when i walked uphill to the field and back home, and we only shot 500 rounds for an 8 hour day of woodsball, and a 20oz tank was enough. Though I do remember the larger carbon wrapped bottles (24oz?) that were used for the shocker (PVI and 4x4) .
