Closed Bolt eNMEy??

I’ve seen a few references here and there to kits that convert the eNMEy into a closed bolt gun. I can’t seem to find any info on them. Can anyone point me in the right direction? It’d be awesome to convert one of my eNMEy’s into a closed bolt. Thanks!

I'm not sure about the eNMEy, but back in a now bygone era, before the eNMEy was even a thing, before Mech Ions were a thing, I believe the original mech Ion as developed by y0da900 was closed bolt.

I'm sitting here trying to wrap my head around how a simple vent to fire unbalanced spool (with rearward bias) could operate as a closed bolt marker. The bolt engine is designed to vent the dump chamber through the bolt when in the forward position. Surely it would not be impossible, but you'd have to make some pretty significant alterations.

The ydna animation shows a two piece bolt, significantly different from stock. It also looks like the air is rerouted to the rear of the “firing can” assembly.
