    eNMEy bolt upgrades?

I have a TechT L6 bolt but I haven’t bothered installing it yet. But I read somewhere that on Gen 2 eNMEy’s GOG made some changes the bolt that negate any benefits you get from upgrading the bolt. Does anyone hear know anything about this? I just don’t want to bother with L6 bolt if there’s nothing to be gained from it.

Also the only thing keeping ION bolts from working in the eNMEy is the tail o ring right? So any ION bolt that has the dual tail orings will work on the eNMEy? BMC is modding ION bolts now to add an additional o ring on the tail. So that has me wondering about maybe trying out some different bolts.

The gen 2 eNMEys have a different bolt system entirely. Theory of operation is identical but they changed some dimensions and added a can on the front like a Proto rail to eliminate the internal sealing orings on the body.

The gen 1 eNMEy bolt is identical to an ion bolt with the addition of the second tail oring. The second oring isn't technically required but is definitely recommended for the sake of efficiency.

      Thank you!

When it comes to Gen2 though I’m not sure I understand 100%. It sounds like with the changes the Gen2 won’t work with upgraded bolt or even the bolts of the Gen1 is that right?

Correct. Gen 2 bolts are proprietary to the gen 2 and as far as I know there are no aftermarket versions. Gen 1 can use any ion bolt (2 tail orings strongly recommended).
