Smart Parts Impulse - no shot strength / chuffing

    VIDEO: https://youtube.com/shorts/ZG_opqQaPBM?feature=share

I have an impulse that shows no shot strength, just kind of chuffs. Looking to diagnose.
    - HPR ~180ish based on gauge
    - no LPR
    - I did pull lowers out and nothing seemed off or binding, no janky orings spotted
    - Same effect when I remove bolt.
    - Dwell adjusted
    - Battery is new (though the connector terminal is broken thus my holding battery in video... I suppose it could be issue but seems unlikely)

Normally I'd say up the LPR pressure, but you say you don't have an LPR. Did early Impulses not come with LPRs?

If you rule out everything, it is probably the solenoid. Or some other damage on the board, such as a diode breaking off the PCB.

When was the last time that you cleaned or rebuilt the ram portion? Also there is a button on the solenoid you can push you cycle it and troubleshoot the electronic portion of the potential problem. These solenoids can also be cleaned and re assembled. Just pay attention to the solenoid end cap and make sure its facing the correct orientation.
