Mech Ion reg leak

Hey gang, I picked up a mech ion on here recently as a little project, but I’m stumped and am hoping someone can point me in the right direction. It has a SSC mech kit. Everything is hooked up right per the mech ion sticky. Stock ion reg, pressure is around 160. Dual oring bolt. It shoots and recocks, but has a medium leak out of the vent hole in the bottom of the reg.

I changed all the orings and lubed the reg and it’s still there. I put a Hyper 2 (possibly 3) on it from my working cocker and that started leaking out of the bottom too (doesn’t leak on the cocker). No leaks anywhere else.

If you put the ion reg on the autococker, does the ion reg still leak from the vent hole?

The hyper reg also leaking on the reg makes it seem as if the ion is cursed.

Thanks Sdawg, spent some more time with it this morning. Put the ion reg on the cocker and same leak out to bottom. Put the stock WGP reg on the ion and it works. Not sure why I didn’t try that yesterday. Also a little weird that the Hyper leaked out the bottom on the ion but works fine on the cocker. Seems to be sorted as long as I don’t use the ion reg. Thanks again!
