Prototype Impulse Eye replacements

Hey all 👋

I've been working on aftermarket replacement eyes for older Smart Parts markers like the Nerve and SFT, and am currently putting together a replacement eye set for Vision Impulses.
The goal is to provide a modern replacement for aging original eye assemblies while maintaining stock compatibility and original functionality.

Current goals:
• Improved durability over aging originals
• Sealed sensor backing to help reduce long-term moisture and corrosion concerns
• Direct replacement approach — stock compatibility is the priority
• Cleaner overall fit and presentation while preserving original operation
• Improved aesthetics compared to the original flex circuits
• Keep replacement options affordable while maintaining quality and reliability

Still refining the design and validating dimensions, but I wanted to gauge interest before moving forward with a production run.

Would anyone here be interested in replacement Vision Impulse eye sets?

Nerve and Shocker ??

Nerve is being manufactured as we speak. Should be here in like 2 weeks then out for testing ~1 week. SFT will be sent out for production withing the next week so figure at least 3-4 for that. Impy I'd say around 4-6 weeks to be on the safe side.

the supply of OEM eyes is dwindling and command a premium price. Their awful flimsy especially where they push into the lower board, constantly getting bent and kinked in that spot on the shocker and nerve. Nice to see an alternative becoming available despite the age of the marker!
