AKA excalibur, this was an ebay gamble that actually worked out in my favor. The guy shipped the gun in a box with no packaging other than an old dirty pillow case lol. I was very surprised to find that the gun actually powers on and shoots with no leaks. Also came with an in hydro ninja tank and nice virtue spire loader which was a nice bonus. One of the few times where an ebay purchase where the seller had 0 feedback actually went well lol

So I've got a backlog of stuff I bought recently, picked up this dye cocker and agd pump mag project. The cocker I built out as a pump for now. I did set her up for mech too, but I suck at building cockers, so I'm gonna hopefully give her to my buddy at ion this year to do a tune up and get her going.

Also including a picture of how the ebay seller shipped the dye cocker lol

The pump mag, I'm not sure yet? Green isn't really my color, but saw it pop up for what I thought was fair and got it anyways.

Yep, that green is a factory color kit, I also have the matching green asa with agd lasering. The green site rail is also agd lasered on the other side of the site rail

I'm not sure if PW Paintball is still collecting markers...but I know for a long time he was trying to put together an all factory green one like that. One of his first marker was one and he sold it. I'll message Paul tomorrow. He has an unbelievable collection so who knows? Maybe he'll trade you something you really want.

New home HPA compressor came in today.

Picked up a GX-E-CS4 seems to have good reviews and durability I got so much stuff I been putting off teching because of the back and forth to the field for air. Expect a ton of rebuilt tank regs to be popping up in the FS section. lol

Right on Ecapnation I am sure you know more than myself.

I was just going by the serial and using the Autococker Serial Number look up here at MCB

As originally named the Sniper II there was not specifically a marker called the Sniper 1.5.

But as I am sure you know the nickname separated it from the second generation of Sniper II's which were built differently.

I was there the summer of 1989 at SC Village and since I could not afford a sniper I bought a Ranger from Bud at their little Seatrain container they had set up at the field. (playing speedball when it was just pumps)

Here is a snippet from MCB Posted by member @OpusX

Sniper 1 1/2 --- 2108 - 2524 --- Early 1989 --- If it's over 2100 then they will have the sniper II body. They used up the Sniper 1 stock. So the - 2500 is more or less a sniper 1 1/2, after that they were true sniper II's. Joelrf600r: "a 1.5 is the nickname for the transition guns that didn't have all the sniper2 features, but had the extruded sniper2 body. They essentially have the extruded body, but still have the sniper1 style bolt/block combo. some of them have the sniper1 pump, others have the sniper2 pump. i don't know what the number range is for them." 2524 looks like a 1.5

              This marker is #2338

Here is a link to a thread also listing #2440 as a 1.5 looks primarily the same just different grips.

Do you recall the prices or difference in price between the Ranger and Sniper? I’m thinking Nelson based markers (like Bushmasters and WGP Ranger) were premium over tube-stacked Sheridan based markers (which is like a Sniper). But maybe not in WGP product line up.

Hooptie yes I started with a splatmaster, then got a PMI-1 and modified it to a kind of piranha with auto trigger, constant air on a stock and direct feed.
Then sold that and upgraded to a Ranger.

So the Sheridan was definitely a step below Snipers and even Bushmasters as far as I was concerned... I would say I wanted a Sniper and a Bushmaster equally. Those green or purple anodized Bushmasters were something else as a 14 year old kid.. All the cool older doods had them. What I guess would have been the actual bushmaster team

Even though the Bushmaster was a nelson based marker they were made better and were ultimately a better marker. The stroke, the feel, the trigger the shot they were just better markers... Bushmasters were the shit... I still want to get one honestly.

The Ranger was like $250 if I remember correctly and the Snipers and Bushmasters were $400+ .

Ha. Saturn collecting is just too expensive. I still plan to pick up Saturn games if/when i find them for reasonable prices but until then i can at least play a lot of the games that i’m interested in that i don’t already own. I’m happy that mine came with an actual Sandisk & not some generic card that would probably fail sooner than later but I’m a little disappointed that so many of the 500+ ROMs are the Japanese versions. A lot of them will be playable with no problems but a good handful won’t be because of the language barrier. Next purchase will probably be a

I have a Minimag w/ dust black body (right feed) & rail, 3D printed "tommy gun" foregrip & the normal composite trigger frame. Has a Classic valve on it that I just rebuilt with seals straight from sandman but it still leaks (most assuredly user error). Twist-lock barrel, but I don't know if it's the original barrel or not (it is short).

Also have a vertical feed RT Pro body where someone hacked off the pipe portion of the neck and welded just the top half onto the body (looks better than it sounds). There's currently a Doc's cocker threaded adaptor installed in it.

It's all going up for sale soon.

Some reg seals from Research PB (torpedo & detonator), EM1 screws from dutchcommando, and a Sterling feed adapter from Phrameworks, all arrived last week. Also received the board game Leaping Lemmings, which is rather obscure among paintballers AND board gamers alike.
