Very early Snipers had a "button" style knob on the cocking rod, so that you could "degas" the gun. When the 12-gram was running low, or you had partially unscrewed the tank (or shut off the Thermo tank) rather than cocking and firing the gun, you could thump the 'button' with your palm, which would vent everything through the valve.

"Beavertails" on Snipers and 'Cockers were an anti-cheating device. Players would push a thumb or even forearm against the cocking rod to add force on the hammer, increasing the velocity.

The All-Americans, shooting the "shoebox" Shockers in the days before HPA became widely available, would fill their tanks with a "cocktail"- 20 ounces of CO2 (a 68 ci fiber-wrap technically holds 24 oz) and "topped up" with 3K of HPA. Supposedly got 10-20% more shots than either one, alone.

On the BT SA-17 pistol, you can unscrew the front barrel cap thing ( which holds the barrel insert in place), and instead thread on an autococker barrel

Look at the parts listing and diagram in the owner's manual of your Spyder and you'll see the size of the striker oring is not listed yet all other oring sizes are. This is true for every year and model of Spyder.

Isn't that the o-ring (or one of them) that deliberately uses tank o-rings in order to reduce the number of different sizes needed?

MrBarraclough Yes. Spyders used to have a fatter striker. Eventually Kingman slimmed down the striker so it took the same size o-ring as everything else in it. Now basic Spyders only need one o-ring size for the entire marker.

On the first gen GoG eNMEy, the threaded hole for the rear grip frame screw intersects the threads for the back cap. If you overtighten that grip frame screw (easy to do with a soft GRN frame), you can inadvertently lock the back cap in place or tear up the back cap threads. Using a small o-ring (like an 006, I think) as a washer on that rear screw will prevent this.

This probably applies to the GoG eXTCy and eNVy and Smart Parts Vibe as well, since the original eNMEy inherited its body from them. Side note: If you look at the parts list and diagram for the gen 1 eNMEy, it is so obviously a parts bin marker. More than half the parts have XTC or NV coded parts numbers.

Tippmann SMG-68s are more rare than SMG-60s despite 68 being the more popular caliber because after the 68 Special was released, Tippmann offered to convert SMG-68s to 68 Specials for a relatively low cost. So many SMG-68 owners recognized that hopper fed semi-auto was more useful than magfed full auto and had their markers converted that examples of the SMG-68 are now exceedingly rare.

The "X" in the name for the Dangerous Power Fusion FX denotes that it is the tenth iteration of Michael Spurlock's Black Dragun series of guns, the Diablo Wrath, for instance, being the fifth.

the movement of air through a ram can cause it to rotate - adding a reference mark to your ram shaft before timing will help you identify if this is throwing your timing off

The Venturi bolt for the F4 Illustrator also have a screw that allows for adjusting airflow.

                    -True, but not complete.

Part of the scarcity is also due to the fact the '68 was only out for a comparatively short time- possibly less than a year- before the Special was released. So not as many were sold in the first place.

The design of the WGP "Ammo Box" loaders, was based off a popular homebrew mod, in which you cut down a one-quart motor oil bottle into an approximately 45 to 50-round loader. (Which in those days was more than enough to get through a game.) An early APG had a step-by-step tutorial on how to do it.
