I got catfished at goodwill today, that kind of counts.

was pretty pumped to see this, then it turned out someone upgraded their reg and put the old wgp one in the box.

It was a cheap lot of old school stuff. One mini mag, and 2 pgp pumps. I got super bummed when he stopped responding because I wanted to give one of the pgps away for walmazs.

There's been many I missed over the years. None really bother me. Most I can't even remember. Although some are more memorable.

    Here are a few

    $300 Eclipse Impulse Aurora

    $200 Karta Emag

    $100 CCM J2L

$150 Working Metadyne Thumper............oh wait that was more like dodging a bullet.

there of course are many more. But if anyone has been on forums long enough they have misses many and likely gotten many. I sure have gotten awesome deals.

Several years ago a guy with a nice collection of custom & PL Bushmasters was letting most of them go. I messaged him about one in particular & we made a deal. I told him I’d PayPal him the next day but before i got the chance i get a message from him saying he decided to keep it. Disappointing but i could kind of understand even though we had a gentleman’s agreement. No hard feelings. That is until i saw someone else posting pictures of the Bushy saying “Look what i just bought!”. Needless to say i was extremely irritated, especially when i wouldn’t have expected that guy to do something like that.

Got outbid by $1 on one of those donation auctions for a Spyder AMG LCD. I didn't really care cause I got enough projects. But an AMG has been on my want list for a while.

Kapp Flame cocker with a bunch of stuff about an hour drive away. Busy day at work, so couldn’t drive to get it. Even offered the guy more than asking but he wouldn’t hold it.

$200 for a Belsales Evo X on Ocala craigslist 15 years ago. Nexus sig series with a grape soda anno for $400 On Cincinnati Craigslist 12 years back.

Dudes agreed to sell them to and the went radio silent.

Most Craigslist deals that don't materialize don't fret me much. Those did.

That was kind like here, in the Sac area. Guy had listed a nice water pool type cocker, seemed all original and good condition. Listed for like 120. I happen to see right after it posted, replied. He said yeah come by tonight to get it. I would be driving two hours.

Couple hours later he emails back and says he I have a guy offering 250 for it, can you match. I said nope. He then replies ok it seems lots of ppl want it and he is getting bidding war. I told him good luch I'm out. I think someone here did end up picking it and had to send to to Docs to get it going.
