It's expensive and inconvenient to obtain, but Anarchy will always be my favorite paint (that is still being produced today)

I shot a case of Anarchy a few weeks ago. My home field sells Nelson Precision as the basic paint. They used to sell Nelson Ranger (a thicker shelled Anarchy that is more woodsball oriented and magfed friendly) as the premium paint, but about a year ago the quality control went to crap on the Ranger so they eventually gave up and now order only Precision. The field owner added a couple of cases of Anarchy to a recent order to test the market. I bought a case and my friend and I shot all of it that day, plus most of a case of Precision. The Anarchy shot just fine, but honestly the difference between it and the Precision seemed negligible, certainly not worth a $20 a case premium. That's not to say that Anarchy is bad, far from it. But Precision gets the job done about as well at a lower price. The fill in Precision is a bit thinner, but it flies about the same.

I have tried Anarchy but I think it was to cold to use it the day I did.

I have always had good luck with Valken paintballs up until recently the paint went to crap. It’s got that junk “new world bubbles in the shell”. The last case I got of Graffiti shot well and broke constantly for fall ball. Not sure if the lower temps played a part or that the batches are improving. But all paint lately has been really bad. I’m hopeful Valken gets there stuff together because the other options are terrible in the North East.

I miss the days of quality paint. I use to get this cheap paint Banzai, Sterling Gauntlet, All Star, even Marbleizer RPS back in the day the stuff shot laser straight, ball was filled to the brim and heavy, broke amazing. Back then they had to produce a better ball as the marker tec wasn’t there. Now I feel like they can polish up crap because the markers will shoot it. The goal is to make a cheaper ball not a better one. We need a better ball!

I wish a manufacturer could produce a true paintball. Honestly I would pay a good amount more if I knew it was consistent round. How has nobody invested in a better ball. Your market is literally all of paintball. All the niche groups included.

Whatever happened to that water based paintball it get bought out by the big boys? Or was it snake oil.

How has the formula not been adapted at this point. Is there literally no R&D in this department? Sure it’s changed over the years fill wise but not for the better of the players.

I think it's almost all about cost cutting, the shrinking paint, the lower quality, etc. I wonder if a manufacturer could take the old RPS Advantage shell recipe, that stuff seemed to shoot great 99% of the time back in the day.

Empire owns all the RPS intellectual property, so if they aren't doing that, it is by choice.

I’m talking about an entire new formula there has got to be a better way to make a paintball more true. It’s for sure by choice volume sales are the majority of sales. You shoot more when you miss mostly.
