Terrible guns that are fun to use

Some guns are quirky, but shoot well. Some guns are reliable, but boring. Some guns are absolutely batshit, but are an experience.

What is a gun that you like to shoot, but is admittedly terrible? Terrible in this case can mean rough, janky, inaccurate, kicky, etc...

For me I think it has to be my Procarbine. It's heavy and loud and isn't very accurate, but my god it's a blast to shoot. I get transported back to the 90s every time I use it, especially with big clouds of CO2 poofing all over the place. Another one would be the OG gray plastic BE Talon. Awful guns from a performance perspective, but nothing was more fun than running around with a buddy (also equipped with a Talon) and a 250ct plastic jar of Walmart paint.

I can appreciate just about any gun as long as it doesn't break paint, breaking paint makes me want to rage quit.

    What about you lot?

I struggle using the OG PGPs cause I have sausage fingers, but they are surely fun!

    Anything cheap and plastic.....

    Splatmasters, tigersharks, blades, talons.... Ect.

If it is cheap but usable for an elimination then I love it!

In general I have a huge love of "low buck, high fun value" value I loved sp1's and Emek's have become my go too

100% with you on the cheap plastic guns. They are so janky, but have so much character. I find Emeks boring, but I get the love for them

For me, I'd have to say it the Milsig M17A2. It's heavy, it kicks like a mule, it's inefficient, it's a bit inaccurate, and the stock mags suck. But, for whatever reason, I still bust it out from time to time.

Ok, I'll be that guy and say it. Cockers . You need to love them to keep using them.

I was about to say this but was afraid of getting banned. The whole concept is just a temperamental workaround for turning a pump into a semi auto. Just about every other semi auto was designed to be that way.

Yeah I was going to say that too. They're my favorite gun to use, but they are not good guns in the slightest.

Procarb! Why! Why do I have AND USE this thing? The barrel is poop, it weighs a ton, I don't like bottomline but it's the only option without serious modding, it's got that CLANG CLANG CLANG when you shoot...I love it. Playing with a marker that is *too crappy to be a rental* is way too much fun.

Absolutely! Every time I get a kill with it it surprises me.

Why all the Pro/Carb hate? Man, I love that whole Pro/Am - Pro/Carb series.

+1 on the Talon. Undisputed junk but so much fun

VM68 for me. I've definitely heard fun things about splatmasters and the plethora of 12g blowback pistols.

Unfortunately I rarely have a chance to run something janky at my local field, or else some jerk with an egripd tippmann who thinks he's in a combat zone will stripe me up.

Agreed. Procarbs and their ilk are awesome, and quite accurate. Some peeps need to clean their guns or something.

No. The schmeg makes it more authentic.

Oh dang got many fun memories of my friends in an empty field with no cover and playing with the brass eagle blades. Lol if you got shot in the gun it would essentially break or that hopper that didn’t feed.. so much fun, miss it lol

in our current group of regulars we run PGP games at the end of our days on hyperball and with all the quirks of running out of air or paint or having rollouts, it’s the most fun I ever have with paintball

              Sheridan pumps

Yeah, yeah flame me if you will but they are almost universally awful especially compared to a good Nelson like a phantom. Barrels are fixed and of a huge size, valvetrain isn't all that efficient, they're heavy, and changing a 12gram is absolute agony compared to a bucket changer.

But god it does feel good to tote a big old brass 3 tube job onto the field.

Nova. The layout, weight, and circumference make them super hard to aim... Reliability isn't good either. Fun to shoot though, and always draw a crowd.

                Tiberius pistols.

Fat grip, clunky reloads, meh trigger.

                Long on fun though.
