Linked images to my server show up on posts viewed on my PC, but not my phone.

So as the topic says, I link a picture in a post from my personal server (fubarius.com) and they seem to show up fine on my PC, and other people do seem to see them as well. But they don't show up when I look at the post on my phone (android, a cheapy with even cheaper Family Mobile service).

So as a test, lets try again here...

If you can't see a Graveyard VLM then it isn't working for you either.

Yep, can't see it on my phone.

hmmm, weird. I don't seem to have missing images from other people on here, just from my server.

I really need to spring for that security certificate.

I'll check from some other devices of mine later.

              Attempting something a bit random...

              Different domain name, same server.

A few that got retired at work. But alas, not visible on my phone.

well, this is interesting. Just upgraded to a new fiberoptic line. Crazy fast bandwidth. Now my own images don't show for me at all.

Sounds like a DNS issue. Try changing your DNS to 1.1.1.1 or 8.8.8.8

Ok, so that's the code a standard image link gives. Nice to know still works. Not sure what the heck is up with the forward slashes in there. My domain may not be able to handle them.

Lets try entering the code manually without the forward slashes...

                    Anyone see it? I don't

Ok, clicking "quote" shows the forward slashes reappear. That's odd.

Ok, doing an update on the old web server. Migrating it over to a slightly more modern hosting plan, could take a few days. And adding a ssl certificate. I'll revisit this issue after everything is more up to date.

                          test...

ok, this seems to work on my PC again, need to check on my phone.
But when domain migrated to new updated server the domain went from "airsmithmagazine.com" to "new.airsmithmagazine.com". I'll call tech support tomorrow to see about getting the "new" removed. I thought I had configured the DNS to get rid of it, but honestly I'm a fumbling amateur at this stuff.

Darn it, not on my phone. Maybe getting that ssl certificate setup will fix that.
