Not able to subscribe to the member only section

Been like this for some time and wondering if its the same for other members?

I am not able to subscribe to the member only sections. I am able to subscrisubscrall the pages/threads in those section but not the sections.

Okay, that's odd. I just tried the subscribe to a thread in those sections and it didn't give me trouble. I'll have to have someone else try and recreate the error.

I don't get an error when trying to subscribe to individual threads. Just when I try to subscribe to the whole section.

Huh, so you get the error on individual threads? Or when you just click subscribe? Looks like it must be a permission thing, just need to get to the bottom of it.

This error show only when we try to subscribe to a whole section of the member forum.
I can see all the thread and open them, and even subscribe to individual thread. Just not able to subscribe to a whole section.

Not sure if this is related, but I'm unable to subscribe to the Local Games/West Coast forum (and other forums).

Instructions to replicate:

1. After being logged in to MCB, from homepage, click on West Coast thread.
2. Click "subscribe"

Expected: I am subscribed to forum and get notifications on new posts to the forum.
Actual: pop up describing "Sorry, you are not authorized to view this page" (see screenshot)

I am not a paying member (yet?), so maybe subscriptions are a members only feature as of recently?

I was previously able to subscribe to other forums, such as the The Armory/Pump Guns and BST/Pump Guns (subscribed Jan - Feb 2024). However, I just unsubscribed and tried to resubscribe to Armory/Pump Guns and got the same error.
