Hi,

Any chance to get Vintagerex back up?

Does anyone have a back up copy? Or a partial?

It was a great resource.

If bringing it back is not possible, could we start a new database from scratch?

what do you guys think?

the wayback machine seems to have vintagerex pretty well indexed from what I just saw. It was last crawled by them near end of Dec 2019....

some of the links go to even newer crawls, like I found the CCI page was updated Jan 5th 2020 (check the capture date at the top of the page), this was well before the apocalypse happened.

** correction ** a quick random sampling of other pages on VIntagerex leads me to believe their most recent crawl was jan 5th 2020...so info should be "good" across the site, just slower to access since it has to go through the wayback machine first.


Of course, this isn't going to suffice forever...but at least it is something to work with until things get back to normal.

thanks for finding it and putting links up.

Id love to be able to start moving it towards a new long term platform, but I have no idea how to make a website ...

I may start to backup some of this data back on a local drive so we have it when were ready to go fresh

Any update about accessing Vintagerex for some updates?
got a few things that are not posted ...

I reworked it and fixed it, but the code is archaic and from 20 years ago. Message me and I can set you up and walk you through it.
