Hey George I totally missed this. I could probably make one this weekend.

I have 4 prototypes made up that are going to be sent out. Once I get some feedback on performance, I will be cranking these out.

What makes a center fire pgp bolt better than the stock?

Air path travels through the bolt and from behind the ball. Stock air path travels straight into barrel, via valve transfer hole/port, and comes from under the ball. Potentially causing breakage on weaker paint.

Is it possible to have a centerfire PGP bolt with a bolt action arm? I'd like to get one either way, but a bolt action PGP sounds like an excellent bit of fun.

I'll have to do some testing on that. The floating cocking lug may not want to line up with the side cut in the tube. Maybe a spring could be used to help that out.

Can a bolt-action PGP bold be set up for the left hand side, so I'm operating the bolt with my left hand while the pistol grip is in my right hand?

With an unmodified PGP, you "can" do it but the bolt action motion would be:
Bolt horizontal out the left side of the gun, you'd pull that down, pull back, push forward, lift bolt up.

If we make a small cut in the top on the right side to match the cut on the left, you could use it like a traditional bolt action (Lift up, cock, push down)

If you're happy to ship internationally, I'll put my hand up for two KP2 bolts please (pending shipping rates to Melbourne, Australia).

I am gonna start pumping these out in January when all my other projects clear up. Should be ready to go for spring season.

              Reminds me of scarecrow.

              make some beefy pump handles!

and some taso / Palmer style quick changers?? Those are always in demand

I will take a center fire bolt as well if you’re making some extra.

I have started the process of turning these things. My plan is to do 25-30 for this run and since I am going through the process of doing a batch, I might as well anodize them. The issue that brings up is it will increase the price ($15-$40 per bolt).

If price is an issue, I will offer the option of raw or anodized.

I'm fine with the extra cost of anodizing if you still plan to make a PG compatible bolt.

Same, I still want a pgp bolt action bolt with all the fancy upgrades whenever it becomes available!

                  #43
I may also need a kp bolt with a flat on the driver side. Im thinking of making a lever assembly that shoulder bolts to the side of the bolt rather than at an angle.

I have a beat up drilled on kp bolt to try my theory on, but The lip is wavy so its only a matter of time til it fails.

I figure you may be interested in turning one up for me? Ideally it would be nice to have a lobe on that spot to give me some height, but I understand turning that on a manual lathe is pretty tough, so I would be happy with a flat at whatever diameter keeps it easy for you.

If you have a drawing or a sketch, I could take a look. I have a few KP blanks sitting around.

Quick clarification question….is this service cutting a slot for a spring feed? Or is it cutting slots to see your ball count/cosmetic?

                    Good answer! 🤣.

Thank you. I’m mid-build for one I plan to run a spring feed on. So if 14 and a half years when it’s complete, you’ll hear from me.

I might be interested in grabbing a PG centerfire when you make a run of them. Add me to the list sir.
