I ordered a Sci-fi board for this build, I will do a switch relocation for the Angel A4 frame so I won't need to alter my build all that much. I figure I can Morlock my Dark Angel and then put my Dark Angel battery in my CnC Angel so that all markers are working then. When the become available I will buy another Morlock for my Matrix, and if the stuff gets sorted for the Shocker, I will buy a Vertical Feed Shoebox and adapt a Dye Angel single trigger frame to it just so that I can have both a single and double trigger version. It will be a good excuse to buy another.

The Sci-fi board lacks the Oled screen which isn't really ideal for an Angel frame as I have a window for the screen, anyone know of a place to get grips that will fit 90 degree Angel frames?

Euphie, the board will run the Shocker if you disconnect pins 5&7 from the solenoids and connect those directly to your battery positive. This will source the current from the battery and sink the current through the board.

Sweet! You know now that I also have a Sci-fi board, really this means I should purchase a second shoebox

It was the coil, just as I had suspected. I found a much beefier component that luckily fits in the available space and have been shipping with those ever since. The mk3 should have no trouble running Shoeboxes now, as this video will attest, I'm sure you've already seen it though, and thanks so much for making it!

Had to come find this thread again, and just re-read all of it. Glad to see things are all better for shoebox installs. Now I am very tempted. Has anyone done a oshpark, EaglePCB daughter board type deal for the shoebox. I had thought it would be nice to have a simple bare board with a trigger switch on it for just drop in, and have an easy pin header on it to just drop in the morlock. I can dream (and/or get better with EaglePCB).

EDIT: Had to add my mad scientist nerd brain would also love to add a mini-mp3 module (example: https://www.digikey.com/en/products/...FR0299/6588463) to this to make my shoebox have blaster noises every time it shoots....cause I can...

I didn't want to post anything that said some version of "not yet but soon I promise!" until I actually had firm dates. The boards are built and I have shipped most of the existing orders out. You should get yours either Friday or Monday (Tuesday latest).

If you want tracking info (they are all going USPS first-class+tracking) email me privately and I'll provide yours.
