Here's the text the wife just sent (plumber is unclogging tub drain).

"The plumber is really struggling to get the bathtub unclogged. ๐Ÿ˜• He did get an orange plastic dart out of the drain so far."

Life with kids I guess.

But have you found rocks in the refrigerator yet?
"but we all have electros and you guys only have pumps, this wont be fair"

          (chuckling quietly) "we know"

Not a very exciting story. Boy just turned 4 and for the last year or more he has always needed to pick up a rock from wherever we were. Some come home, some get stashed, some go in the fridge. When we have recurring places we go to, he has special rocks stashed in certain places and he always does the rounds to make sure they are still there.

I used to eat steaks on my friends roof circa 5th grade. Weโ€™d put the fat pieces down the plumbing venting tubes on the roof. Iโ€™m certain that caused issues down the road to that house.

Iโ€™m past the Nerf dart phase (my son is now a paintballer!) but Iโ€™ve seen those stupid things show up years later during furniture rearranging or deep cleans. Havenโ€™t seen one in the drain yet - thatโ€™s new.

Kinda scares me as I bought a box of 200 a couple years ago only to have them virtually disappear

During my Nerf phase I would count and know exactly how many were to be shot and would try to find them all afterwards. I still lost a few despite this. I was also the kid who wrote my initials on my darts.

Ha ,the ole nerf darts. We had them everywhere and one morning I popped an English muffin in the toaster to find a nice burning plastic smell. Yup one landed in there and got burned to the elements when I tried to use it. Toaster got scrapped but worth it after a good nerf battle.

In a toaster is a place I'd never think to look for a nerf dart.

We never had Nerf darts as kids. We had the bows & Master Blasters. Little harder to lose those projectiles.

But we had Legos, and so do my kids. Now I understand what my parents went through.

That & rocks. My younger boy forgets rocks in his hoodies & they end up in the washer and dryer. Darn things sound like they're shaking themselves apart.

Yep. At the end of the world the only things remaining will be cockroaches and nerf darts.
