    Halo V35 Weird Issue

When I push the unit on, it does not spin. When I break the beam of the eyes, it will rotate the motor a little. Essentially each time a ball passes it feeds a little, but not constantly spinning.. There is no constant spinning with nothing between the eyes--the opposite of what it should be(if hopper is empty it should be spinning like crazy).

    bad eyes? Something else?

    Motor itself isn't shot?
I could have sworn I had something important to put here...

Motor spins fine. When I take it all apart, I held the eyes up to one another, it stopped spinning.

When I'd move them away, it'd spin a little. Then together, brief spin, and away, brief spin.

        You sure it's a v35 board?

Has the 2001 printed on it. When I checked online it matched photos of the stock board.

Did you just buy it or it was working differently before?

Sound activate board work like this I think
Clap the door to make sound and see if it turn

I bought it second hand. There are eyes on it and they are only thing that make it activate, but it's backwards from the easy it would normally function. No sound activation, I did try that.

The sound boards don't have the plug for the eyes to plug into.

Because nobody has asked it yet yet.... Batteries?

And have you tried an actual drop test yet? Like load the hopper up and let it feed out? What happens after the first handful of paint is what I'm wondering.

Nothing happens when the eyes are visible to each other, if there is no ball it won't spin. If there is an object between the eyes it will spin.

If I disconnect the eyes from the board it will spin non-stop.

It's the opposite of how it should function. Either board is fubar or eyes messed up. I really am not sure I want to test my luck for $15 on new eyes and not fix the problem.

Is the connector for the emitter/receiver flipped 180 at the board connection? On my v35’s it could make continuity either way but not sure if it would cause your issue.

It's in the correct orientation, but I did try to reverse that as well, eyes did not work at all

I don't think it's the eyes. They are clearly doing something.

Let me dig around, I'm pretty sure I have a reloader B board somewhere. If you don't mind ears just pay shipping and it's yours.

Wow, that is very kind of you. If you do happen to have a spare board I'll take it and try to avoid a costly new loader.

                          Please keep me posted.
