    Meteor classic frame

Uses 45 or single hole grips

What are they worth, are they rare or saught after, is it worth trading a benchmark slider for it, and lastly the guy says it's thin real thin which is what I want but how are the squared edges on these are they uncomfortable in the hand

I would say the Meteor frames are more desirable at this point. Fabrice is still making some small batch items, but otherwise Meteor is done.

The benchmark is 3/4 thick, the meteor is 1/2 inch. The edges are crisp, but not sharp. The only spot I notice it on is the top of the trigger when I do the middle finger fast shooting, but it isn't a big deal, just not as round as the benchmark

These frames are excellent with single hole grips, essentially a nicer reissue of the pot-metal style.

They are good frames for sure, but have a smaller audience. They have appropriate set screws for slop, but no stop screws. I added my own stop.
Value-wise they sold for 100 empty raw from Fabrice at meteor. I believe I paid 120 new for these polish blacks. I do not know that any more are being produced. I believe Docfire was previously offering them in matte black with Shocktech internals at 200.

Need Inception Designs or Shocktech Products? Let me know!

              Pretty comparable.
I will say the reach on the Meteor feels longer, maybe due to the angle. So if you have shorter fingers you might not like it.

Best part about these frames is they take the classic style grips. Those things are so comfortable!

Looks like I should have just gotten a shocktech frame lol

The meteor is 1/8th longer from the back of the curve to the front of the connecting rod hole. It is undercut though, so your hand rides higher

Thanks, looks like I'll just keep the benchmark, that meteor frame looks funny

Seeing as we are taking about frames what frames do yall all like, which ones feel better, keeping cost in mind of course, of course I'm sure most are going to feel the same

I really like Mozak frames. I think they are my favorite currently made frames. Packers pump build inspired me to buy a few different options. I just got this one in the other day and it feels amazing in the hand. Matched Grips to the profile, extended snatch grip holds holds a beaver tail. It’s also T slotted and Drilled for various ASA, front profile on the trigger guard is nice and big but pulls back in the right spot to allow for reg clearance especially if your going to use those fancy CCM fittings that are a lil bigger profile. Mozak frames take a lil of each design characteristic and puts them all in one frame. I have much more expensive rare frames but I’m going with this one for sure.

Might be right by the time you put internals in them. I would definitely choose it over like a Gunfighter tho. It’s got more of a custom feel.
