    Lower tube transplant

Have a lower tube + a reg that was sweet spotted when everything was on a pre2k sniper build.

These same guts and reg are going onto a 2k+ body now.

I know a 2k+ has more volume so that makes me think a lower pressure can be achieved but is that entirely true?

I'd love to think I can just drop everything into this new body and call it good but I'm guessing I'll just need to sweet spot it again.

It may fall within the sweetspot range, every setup is a little different. I'd just drop them in and shoot a couple tubes to check the shot quality and velocity. If it feels good roll with it.

As jonny said go for it but expect you will need to sweet spot. You can take "identical" parts throw them in identical bodies and they will sweet spot differently. The more that is the same the closer they will be to each other but each setup is unique do to tolerance stack up between parts.

Valves might be different sizes. Pre2k is 9/16, 2k+ is 11/16

Nah, both Pre-2K and 2K+ use a "9/16" valve for standard WGP/Clone bodies. It isn't until you get to things like VLM, Merlins, Empire Snipers...etc that you got into the 11/16 valves . You may be thinking of the front banjo bolt changed between Pre-2K and 2K.

      Right you are Grendel!

Depending on how "pre 2k" it is the valve spring may be short for a 2k making a full tune needed.

It was in a later 90s body that has all the basics of a 2k, minus the the banjo being the smaller size. Factory threaded for IVG, lug hole etc. Full 2k+ lower tube was in there just fine

Well then I'd swap, shoot over the chrono and go from there. It will be pretty close.
