    Race Frame Any Good?

Have an opportunity to get a race frame cocker but don't really know anything about their reliability or parts availability. Are they worth it or just stick to an eblade?

What would a race frame board, cable, and battery cost to replace?

Somebody else may have better info or a line on parts but I personally never had luck with them as far as reliability. They were difficult (for me) to set up and I imagine parts will be fairly difficult to come by at this point. There are some pretty ones out there but I would not mess with one again

I've never owned one but jungle s experience has been what I've heard as well, the frames seem to be not super user friendly

That said, I do think they are cool but they were private lable cockers, I wouldn't count on there being parts easily available

Is it's complete and working and a decent price, sure. But missing parts, no way

Parts are hard to find and the software/cable required to finetune the frame are equally as difficult to obtain. I think someone was building replacement batteries at one point but I'm not sure what happened to that.

Eblades are better in many respects, including the aftermarket support like the Sci-fi board.
And God turned to Gabriel and said: “I shall create a land called Canada of outstanding natural beauty, with majestic mountains soaring with eagles, sparkling lakes abundant with bass and trout, forests full of elk and moose, and rivers stocked with salmon. I shall make the land rich in oil so the inhabitants prosper and call them Canadians, and they shall be praised as the friendliest of all people.”

“But Lord,” asked Gabriel, “Is this not too generous to these Canadians?”

And God replied, “Just wait and see the neighbors I shall inflict upon them."

Figured as much. I got 3 new boards from a friend and was looking at a couple other parts but maybe not the way to go.

            Was it just the frame?
I really like race body and you can change the frame for a more standard one

It was pretty much everything except the battery and cable. Was thinking of the possibility of putting my spare slider on it instead but then it just another mech cocker and I have plenty of those. Could pump it but already have 3 so why put more money into it...

Data cables are a piece of cake to make. So are chargers. Batteries are harder to make. I was making them but Everytime I did I'd sit on them. People on the pre-order list would ghost.

I'd have to agree with the above posts. The frames do tend to suck. Especially the older ones. The only decent one is the 2k5 frame. You can adjust the freekick with an external set screw.

But parts are non existent really. Especially the clapper noid/button pads. They are extinct.
