Porting a stock WGP regulator for a gauge?

    Saw this picture on eBay.
is it possible to port the upper section of a WGP stock regulator for a gauge? Is this area getting output pressure?

I suspect entirely possible but have no experience with it myself. That would be the correct area to put the hole

However, there's an easier way, as long as you are not running a mini cocker in the bottom of the front block there is a plug screw. Get that out and install a gauge. You just need to make sure and find a small enough gauge that it won't hit any other components

honestly it is easier to take it off and use an external reg tester than to leave it on there for play.

The pressure in the upper portion of the WGP reg is output pressure. The top piece with the threads will unscrew from the lower portion.

          I agree with this

A gauge on marker isn't super useful. Really the only time you look at it is if you are already having a problem which, if the problem is with the reg you probably already know anyway

I took the gauge off my empire sniper. Wasn't doing anything useful and got in the way of my hand

            One Ninja remote on/off
            One bleed valve
Three gauges rated for different pressures, low, mid, and high.

Damn that's a good idea. I just have one gauge, 0-1200

I would not do it. It will get in the way of most grip frames, then you are doing the frame reg dance. And not a lot of meat for the threads it will be easy to strip.
