My 2 Carters. Their both from the pre-Dye era. I had a Dye Buzzard and a post-Dye Buzzard that I sold off because I liked the old style triggers way more. Both of them were bought from guys here in Hawaii. In the early 2000's everyone had a pump - mostly Phantoms but the really bad ass guys all had Carters.

The previous owner of the black Buzzard had the grip machined to remove the hump. I have to admit it feels really comfortable like that.

But while it’s still in my hands I thought I’d post some pictures. Hopefully they turn out well and are high quality. It always seemed werid to me that the trigger frame plate was re milled after the marker was anodized. There is the last letter of a older name for the marker on the right side. Other oddities are.The bottom of the frame has non standard asa spacing, I suspect it pre dates the standard. The pump handle rod being constructed by welding half a screw thread. Yeah that works. But clearly carter had access to some nice machine tools. It just seamed inconsistent with the rest of the high quality handmade construction of the marker. The airline was also a oddity or at least a relic. It’s not 1/8npt. The valve body and vasa are 1/8npt. But the fittings are 1/8”npt to 1/4”sae and the hose is flare. Not sure if this was standard at the time. Some of the older players will know.

Originally was a rail gun with a si receiver. Had a carter make a barrel along with the box gun lower and upper half.
I just recently took off the si lower and put a old buzzard body on it with the og SS barrel. Then took a comp feed as its more squared compared to the buzzards round body to mate it onto the top rail. This is the done project now.

Forgot this Cocker body resto. Nice little shooter that doesn't get enough love. Have since added white grips and panels to the shroud to mimic the Full Blown style albeit without the scrimshaw.

Very nice! Does the feed hit the back of the body?
