    EV cup seals?

What's the consensus on EV cup seals these days? I ordered a couple yesterday since mine is temperamental about leaking down the barrel. I heard there were some issues 6 months ago...

Did you try flipping your old ones over. You can usually get another 10 years out of them if you do.

I did. This one's about had it. Getting velocity issues again, but since I heard it leaking the other day, I know the cup seal is giving up.

I've heard of getting some nylon washers from somewhere like Lowe's that are the right size and using those instead. But as mentioned, flip an existing/original version

I hear you can replace the entire cup with the ones from the Ghost in a pinch no CO2 issues. The face seal isn’t rebuildable on them like the CCI brass Cup. It’s an all plastic cup. But I haven’t tried it I have a few Old seals I’m holding on to. But some have and it works without any performance issues. (Co2 and or HPA) I meant to try some had them in the cart and everything just got distracted and never got them. Teampredator00 I think was the one who suggested it.

Im not a big fan of that type of seal but you can easily pull them off re lap them with some wet sandpaper and get them to seal again if you have an issue. So not rebuildable but totally fixable in a pinch.

Well, I went ahead and bought a few of those universal cupseals from ecapnation. I'll have no shortage of cup seals, at least.

This seems to work. I bought a pack of #8 nylon washers from Lowe's for a dollar and stacked 2.

Velocity with a silver spring and 12g instantly jumped from barely cracking 200 to floating around 250. A little tpc adjustment and it's hanging around 260 to 280. I suspect that's just from not waiting long between shots. Using decent field paint that matches to a .682 insert pretty well.

Just for grins, I may run a comparison of the nylon washers, EV, and the universal seals from ecapnation.
